Kaddu Key Lauz:-In the local vernacular lauz is the term used for ”barfi” Sweet prepared with finely grated pumpkin(commonly known as Lauki in north India).This authentic sweet is a fine blend of rich khoya,sugar,safforan,dry fruit and pumpkin painstakingly cooked to a perfect consistency which is aired out to give a dry feel on the outer and a moist melting experience in the centre. This is now cut into neat squares or diamonds and garnished with slivers of almonds,pistachios,raisins.The touch of royalty is added by decorating it with varq(silver foil). A MUST TRY!
